Hello World!
I'm Chris Schultz
A Bit About Me
Hi my name is Chris Schultz and I'm an aspiring Software Engineer. As an avid chess player, I first got interested in the technology world when I read about AlphaZero, Google's Chess AI that mastered the game through self play. I'm glad I got interested in computers then because working on software allows me to put my analytical mindset and creative problem solving skills to the test in order to come up with satisfying solutions.
In my free time, I love doing two very different things. On one hand I'm a very large sports fan. Whether it be playing soccer since the age of four, analyizing player statistics to (hopefully) win my fantasy football league, or joining the ultimate frisbee team at UCI, I have always had an interest in sports as it appeals to my competitve, yet collaborative nature. On the other hand, I'm a huge nerd and spend my Friday nights at UCI's Tabletop Games club playing board games with all my friends. I even have a tierlist of approximately 100 different board games we have played if you want any recommendations.
